FirstGen
FirstGen is an organization focused on increasing access to venture scale entrepreneurship for immigrant and first generation communities. The organization works with its members to build capabilities to create and scale startups and provides access to social and financial capital that many immigrant and first generation founders lack.
FirstGen was founded by Mat Kaliski in 2018 and Acronym has been supporting the efforts since its founding days. The organization has helped over 70 founders to date and its members hail from 30 different countries of origin. If you’d like to apply to join or help out, please fill out this form.
Florida Venture community
As a dual New York and Palm Beach based fund, Joshua has been active in building the venture capital community in South Florida and connecting the NYC and Florida venture markets.
Since 2020, Joshua regularly partners with local institutions to organize dinners and events for senior partners and actively participates in growing the local startup community.
